Buttah the verbal wordsmith was raised in the dirt and dust of Far North Queensland and has been a major influence on the FNQ Hip Hop scene. His music reflects the beauty and savagery of this unique part of the world and his songs explore a diverse array of themes and issues, ranging from comical, deeply ethereal and disarmingly introspective - often within the same song. Every listener has their own connection with his music. Buttah released his debut album 'The Storyteller LP' in 2008 and is now set to drop a monster double-barrel album, 'The City of Sirens'. This two part record, Dawn and Dusk, will satisfy his most devoted (and patient) fans, who have waited almost 9 years for a second release. Featuring a plethora of never-released songs, fresh new music and a few old favourites, City of Sirens will showcase the evolution of his unique style.
