Formed in the fertile musical mecca of Melbourne High School in 2000something, Caledonian Lane are a 3 piece punk..rock.. band... some of the time. The rest of the time they pass themselves off as students or low-paid workers, and enjoy talking in the third person. Having taken a year's hiatus from serious gigging, Caledonian Lane have tighented up their tense, aggressive sound and are back playing live. Focusing their sets on raw power, Caledonian Lane mix their edgy, riff-driven originals with occasionally ..wanky.. profound acoustic numbers, counterpointing the fierce energy of the rest of the show. Throw in a few much-loved covers, and you have a formidable melting-pot of music ready to explode onto the stage! God does that sound pretentious... Summing up, get your hairy bottom to one of our gigs or be cursed to damnation for eternity. The Yen has spoken.
