Hailing from Sandringham (Naarm/Melbourne), Calling George is the perfect blend of Australian Indie, Garage Rock, Modern Surf and a sprinkling of Pop. Formed in 2024 by Sam Heydon (Vocals/Guitar/Uke), with childhood pals Zac Levit (Bass) and Tom Henderson (Guitar) the band crafts infectious tunes that will have you dancing & shouting along. Inspired by inner-city vibes and coastal living, their jangly guitars and honest lyrics define a sound that's unmistakably theirs. With new releases like a hotly anticipated E.P. "Bending The Elbow" (2024) which was launched with great success at the Tote Hotel, Melbourne. There is a constant flow new releases from Calling George including “Lockie Leonard” which was played on Triple J “Home and Hosed" and a raft of new stuff as a result of prolific songwriting and an irreverent DIY production style.
