Calling Mayday has been playing shows around Sydney since early 2008. During their journey the group has been likened to Green Day, The Living End, The Ramones and Muse. The combination of Em on vocals and guitar, Pat on lead guitar, Mag on bass and Hide on drums come together both rhythmically and melodically to generate an addictive brand of rock that is Calling Mayday. If you have ever been to a Calling Mayday show you will know at which the caliber the band performs. Each and every minute of this band’s exhilarating set is speckled with treats and surprises. “Mayday kick up a storm of hooky songs that show some serious potential”-Darren Sadler (Rock Sound Magazine).
