Calum Newton’s musical journey has taken some surprising turns. After winning Unearthed High in 2013 with his teenage band Lunatics On Pogosticks, he went on to co-found Amyl & the Sniffers, contributing bass and production on their first two EPs. Since then, he’s carved out a niche as a content creator under the alias Candymoore.mp3, collaborating with the likes of Microsoft, Vodka Cruisers, Red Rooster, and gaining traction through viral remixes on TikTok. With Humiliation Ritual, Newton returns to basics - crafting his own brand of scrappy, heartfelt alternative/indie/pop.
