Carita first started writing songs (whole songs) not made up kids songs at the age of 15. At this stage she had an old guitar, a few chords and a bunch of adolescent experiences as kindling. As the years progress the themes change, and sometimes simply rearrange as heartbreak, happiness, boredom, triumph, anger, loneliness and friendship come and go. Her life is like anyone else's. She works. She plays. She loves. She resents. She aspires. She rejoices. She laments. She sins. It is with raw emotion and curious reflection that each song evolves.
