Emerging solo artist Carl W Jackson is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from the Sunshine Coast in southeast Queensland. Originally from Melbourne, Carl has toured and performed from one side of the country to the other and is no stranger to the most frequently visited venues in Australia. Although Carl has been writing, performing and recording music for almost 20 years, the new recording Just Another Number, Pt. 1 marks a shift in both style and direction. The EP makes a point to tone down the rock and tilt in the direction of feel-good pop tunes. Carl’s aim is to make simple & fun pop/rock tunes that make you smile and encourage you to sing along.
