Once upon a time(2 years ago), in a magical land far across the seas (India) there travelled a gypsy girl (Carlie), with rings on her fingers and bells on her toes. The morning after the night before ( a night of much wine, much song, much love), a million dragonflies awoke the gypsy girl, and with them her first song was born. The indian summer saw the gypsy girl, inspired by the magic of india, writing, singing and sharing her songs with all those she crossed in her travels...from sadhus and stars, to backpackers in candlelit bars. After the dust settled on the trails of her travels, this modern-day gypsy-girl has returned to produce a collection of beautiful & deeply personal tales that captured the twinkle of the stars from under which they were written When Carlie performs, it is not only her soulful lyrics and voice, but her presence on stage that transports the audience to the magic moments where she pauses on life.
