Carpet Burn is a rock band from Brisbane. Inspired by AC/DC, a rusty gate and Slim Dusty, Carpet Burn’s music features a howling dog of a guitar, a rowdy bloke on drums, raucous synths and battler vocals that make you want to scream in catharsis. After meeting down the local, the band quickly bonded over a common love of beer, uppers, shit-talking and hand ball. Their songs conjure images of decaying roadkill and sunbeaten day drinking.
