Edit history

Carta Extremis began in the early stages of 2011 whilst the trio were playing in another band and decided to break off and start a side project. After tasting success from their first few gigs, the band decided the self-produce their own self-titled EP, "Carta Extremis", which was released on the 28th of March, 2012. Since then the band has never looked back, and their sound is constantly evolving, with elements from bands like Tool, Smashing Pumpkins, Coheed and Cambria, System of a Down, and A Perfect Circle. Carta Extremis are constantly tearing up stages in and around Melbourne with their energetic and electrifying shows, and plan on carving up the east coast later this year.
