Mornington Peninsula singer/songwriter Casey Ray has always had music in her bones. It was through jam sessions with her drum-playing mother that her love was born. As a lover of old-school R&B & Rock she’s ready to share her twist on the music that’s always existed inside her. Casey’s music is inspired by the likes of Etta James & Meg Mac & artists like Anne Marie & Fleetwood Mac. In 2021 Casey Ray debuted Be A Lady They Said, of which Happy Mag recognised as “a compelling debut that showcases an artist both liberated & determined. 2022 saw Casey Ray continue reclaiming her passions, asserting her place at the top of the year with Money Tree, a light-hearted yet bold song which champions her message to focus on the good stuff. Her new single Not My Job To is a soul-roots arrangement with a pop flair that reminds listeners that its not your job to fix everything. Sometimes you have to move on. Not My Job To is out now on all major streaming platforms.
