Cashe is a music group founded by Jesse Asquith and Khang Buffini. Taken into the direction of pop and R&B, the two gained inspiration from other groups such as Crush, Mac Ayres, Bruno Mahor and 88 Rising. It begun in 2018 when the two members entered a school talent quest during their senior year of high school. Together they wrote a song named “Caleb‘s Girl”, named after one of their friends, and was performed vocally with the accompaniment of a piano. After placing third in the competition, Buffini and Asquith continued to write songs under the name Cashe and uploaded them to various platforms. Post graduation, the group is growing and continuing through their journey as musicians.
