Cassady Southern is an accomplished singer-songwriter with a rich catalogue of music that spans multiple genres: blending the raw edge of rock, the heart of country, the soul of blues and the energy of pop into one authentic sound. Irrespective of genre, Cassady writes from the heart, weaving stories into her lyrics as she does melodies in to her songs. These are the constant in a songwriting CV made up of dance/EDM, pop rock, alt country and more. Cassady grew up in a musical household, where band rehearsals were a regular feature and music was encouraged. She learned piano and saxophone and later guitar. Cassady began writing and releasing music and has since developed a diverse and substantial catalogue which is characterised by its authenticity, heartfelt storytelling and broad appeal. Cassady is currently based in Sydney and is performing live as part of a pop/rock/country/blues band and an electronic rock trio.
