Cassel began as the solo project of Yasmin de Laine in Adelaide in 2013. As of 2017, after relocating to Melbourne, Cassel is a band. Cassel released their debut self-titled EP on 26th May 2018. "Cassel is an explosive collection of songs housed in a laidback and melodic package. It mixes elements of pop and post-rock to create a vast sonic landscape that colors its curves between layers of reverb and cutting vocals." - divideandconquermusic.com casselmusic.bandcamp.com
