CASSIA is an alternative progressive rock band from the suburbs of Brisbane. Formed in late 2009, CASSIA have forced their original, uncompromising brand of heavy, alternative, progressive rock and roll on to the stagnant music scene of the East Coast of Australia since then, and are looking to explore further, unknown, distant terrain. Having released their first EP, simply titled "CASSIA" in January 2011, and recently completing a split EP and associated East Coast MIni-Tour with N.S.W. metal act Distract, CASSIA are pushing forward and are working on their very first full length album which is scheduled for release in early 2012.
