James McArthur is an all original, independent artist making his first attempt at a solo musical project with Catseye Parish. Raised in a musical and theatrical family, James began learning drums and percussion at an early age before moving to and favouring guitar and singing. Having previously recorded and released tracks with projects such as Canberra based rock band Monsterpiece and interstate indie/alternative duo Gus and Jim, Catseye Parish marks the first time James has independently written all the songs for a project. Since 2019, Catseye Parish has released two EPs as well as a rockin' debut album, 'Heaven On Earth', and is currently in the process of releasing his second album' Young at Heart, Old Apart'.
