Perth based three-piece CAVALIER live up to their name: they're arrogant and carefree. If you're craving dreamy kaleidoscope psych pop or carefully crafted heart on sleeve earnest folk to dance around the maypole to, move the fuck on. Grunge is the order of the day here. This is loud offensive rock in the same vein of Melvins and Mudhoney - you know, those grunge bands that didn't sell out to the majors. While the riffs will batter you around a bit, it's the songwriting that will stick in your head with CAVALIER. If you treat them good they may be gallant and chivalrous, but they'll never play an acoustic show. "We drink and rehearse and sleep and piss on things. And kinda do that everyday.
