CAYCE (pronounced kay-see) formed in Sydney in 2006. They have recently released their first EP “The Hardest Thing You’ll Ever Do”, which was recorded by legendary producer Phil Mckellar, well known for his work with bands such as Grinspoon and The Butterfly Effect. CAYCE are no ordinary rock band by any means. They infuse their songs with intricate melodies, acoustic breakdowns and powerful anthemic riffs, taking heavy rock down a different path from the more common forms of hardcore/screamo. Vocalist Jeff Kuo sings about his personal life experiences, covering topics such as corruption, loss, desperation and love. After a successful sold-out EP Launch at Sydney’s Excelsior Hotel, CAYCE are touring most of the capital cities to spread the word of their new music. Each month will see new audiences for the band, beginning with the ACT in June, QLD in July, SA in August and VIC in September! CAYCE have already started to earn a small, dedicated legion of fans.
