Dan started writing songs in high school and making very poor quality recordings on tape. He discovered 'OK Computer' in year 9 and thus begun his passion for collecting and consuming copious amounts of music. After aimlessly strumming on his guitar for many years and struggling with the genetic affliction known as 'severe laziness'. Dan has finally started to write and record his songs in a tiny study overlooking the blinking lights of little old Adelaide. The songs rely heavily on lush harmonies and gentle arrangements that sometimes float, and sometimes charge like a musical bull. One part Elliot Smith and one part The Beach Boys with a dash of something a bit different, Cedar House are ready to gently strum their way with a four part harmony right into your lounge-room and make you a warm cup of apple cider.
