Cee most definitely isn’t someone you’d expect to see in Canada. Growing up in Melbourne, Australia with a passionate love for all things Hip Hop, he has followed this path for over a decade now. Music journalism, social media and artist management have all been part of the journey but being an MC was the catalyst that caused him, along with his brother Notion, to sell everything he owned and move his life to Toronto (initially) in order to pursue his musical dreams. The crew, The Movement Fam, was signed to blogger Kevin Nottingham’s HiPNOTT Records label in 2009, and this was the main incident that sparked the urge to permanently relocate to the wild north. After spending two years in Toronto, it was time for a change so Montreal was the destination. Cee has been quite the prolific artist, releasing numerous projects with various groups over the years, including Cee & Bekah (three mixtapes – including one with Mick Boogie & Terry Urban – and a compilation album from 2007 to 2010)
