Edit history

Chakra started out as a three piece instrumental from the Blue Mountains with progressive rock as its main influence. Bands such as Tool, Karnivool and Pink Floyd fueled our writing. The introduction of our singer changed the band to interpret reggae and add simplicity to our sound. Chakra has naturally grown into their own style of music and have tried to grow it further away from other set genre stereotypes. Since we first started gigging in June of 2012 we have since won the 2012 Blue Mountains Blufm Battle of the bands competition, played at the Peats Ridge music Festival and many venues around NSW.
