Edit history

Chaos Formula is a three piece band from the Sunshine Coast created from the ashes of previous local bands. Once Dale (guitar/vocals) started jamming with Kris (drums), they realised they shared similiar musical directions and the quest for a bassist was started and answered quickly by long time friend Alex. Originally Chaos Formula played a fusion of rock, melodic death metal, jazz & hardcore, which came through in the first wave of song writing. Through the months the band's sound evolved and changed, tinkering with such genres as blues, black metal and even pop-punk. Finally the band settled on a sound that has it's roots in rock but isn't afraid of stepping outside the genre for a more diverse sound.
