Charley Baylor is a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter based in Melbourne who creates songs about his life experiences through varying genre styles. Since birth, Charley has had to overcome a variety of difficulties and learn to live with disability. These experiences have given him insights into life and our society which are uniquely valuable to all of us. He uses his music to express his views and communicate a personalised view of what it’s like to live as a marginalised, immunocompromised person with an intellectual and physical disability. Throughout his second album Life, Charley tells stories of social exclusion, love, mental health, friendship, and celebrating the good times. Charley shares these stories through eclectic songs styles from funky rock, Rap/hip-hop tracks, to inspirational pop ballads and electronic dance anthems, while playing nearly every instrument on the album.
