Charlie is largely influenced by a spanish/highly religious upbringing. Growing up constantly singing at home with her mother, who was head choir girl in a spanish nunnery....her mum having a voice of an angel. Charlie then got the hell outa there, discovered the wonders of Triple J in her early teenage years and never looked back. Charlie's music is simple, playing a simple guitar line, allowing the husky yet smooth melodic vocals to shine. Her music can be quite dark with spots of humour randomly thrown in for something different. Enjoy.
