Best known for her comedic commentary on psychosexual therapy in The 3 Doll’s latest cabaret show "In Freudian Slips" which received rave reviews at the 2008 Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Robinson's more recent move into solo recording further demonstrates her versatility as a song writer. Writing a concoction of story-book ballads, cinematic country and truck-stop pop, Mudge's first solo EP effort, "The Adventures of Albert’s Shoes" reflect her experiences growing up on a remote sheep-station and relocating to the city. Robinson's voice has been compared to Natalie Merchant and Patty Griffin, and lyrically with the likes of Tom Waits, The Waifs, Paul Kelly and Dolly Parton.
