We are the band Chasing Charlie. We have been a band since 2004 and started the band after we saw Green Day live. We have known each other literally since we where all born. Most of our music is a mixture of punk and rock but we do do other styles like grunge and funk. Chasing Charlie is Russell Burns on bass and lead vocals, Tom Lancaster on Guitar and lead vocals and Craig Burns on the drums. Tom and Russell share lead vocals. We have had many influences. Our biggest influence is blink-182. They are who inspired us to become a band and they are probably where we get most of our ideas. Our other influences are Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Offspring, The Living End, Nirvana, Sum 41, Green Day, The Cure and Silverchair. We are basically a normal alternative band. Not emoish but poppy and happy. We use catchy tunes and good lyrics. Some of our songs are serious while some are light hearted. We sound like a mixture of blink-182, The Living End and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
