Melbourne-born artist, CHECKO, started his career mid 2019 on Soundcloud with fellow rapper IHATESORA creating melodic rap songs to free YouTube beats and promoting them to classmates. After releasing music on Soundcloud for two years CHECKO release his debut single With My Dawgs on the 1st of January 2021 on all streaming platforms. In mid 2021, CHECKO found out about a music docu-style reality series on TikTok called UNDSCVRD presented by Samsung Galaxy. The rapper auditioned managing to get into the top five and spent a month filming the show. As apart of a surprise on the show the five contestants had to come up with a group song that was produced by James Angus while being mentored by The Veronicas. CHECKO said it was an amazing experience getting to make a song with Rhian Aoun, Taigh Wade, Jordyn Richards and Jade Steg. Each contestant got to professionally record and produce their own original songs and CHECKO co-produced his new song “No Question” with James Angus.
