Cheese Excursion are an exciting new act to burst onto the live scene with exuberance and highly original charm. This band plays nasty dance grooves with a fast and brutal horn section and grinding vocal gymnastics upon a thick layer of guitars and drums. Dance like a flaming chicken, if you will, to the new interpretation of what jazz-core can be. With elements of country, dub and hardcore punk, the act is like a rollercoaster of "progressive" musical developments. The sounds are accessible, however, and the toe-tapping at the beginning of a set usually progresses into grooving out on the dance-floor in the middle and then onto insane flailing and rolling around on the stage by the end.
