After high school he studied Theology and started his own music school with a focus on mentoring young people in the community. He graduated and moved to Brisbane where he continued to teach & write music as well as performing live shows in the local scene. Chester worked a day job & volunteered with several community organisations, all while developing his songwriting skills.
