I was a child of the sixties when music exploded from the UK and spread throughout the world. Young teenagers like me were buying guitars and dreaming of becoming rock stars. What an exciting time it was. Some realised that dream, others simply enjoyed the experience. I had those dreams, I thought about learning to sing, I thought about being in a band, however that was all I did, thought about it. Writing and recording my songs never ever entered my mind, I was too busy just enjoying the music. I started to write some songs, but discarded them quickly, I even tried to record myself doing Beach Boys harmonies, but that went nowhere. Then by chance I start singing lessons with Emma Deans, Emma hears my songs and urges me to record them. I email someone who plays in a local band, he gives me Paul Green’s contact. I contact Paul Green and now I am on the verge of putting out a recording of my songs. This is beyond my wildest dreams. I must thank Emma for her continued encouragement and Paul Greene for his expertise and musical knowledge in bringing my lyrics to life.
