Chris Maguire is lost in the cascade of musical emotion. Strapping himself to his guitar like a fighter pilot to his jet, Maguire delivers the eloquent subtlety, the soft restrained passion into which his audience is plunged. Conversation stops, drinks are put down, Maguire’s mastery is in his ability to capture and hold. Genre is almost a flippant term for this upcoming artist, who rallies soft acoustic experiences alongside the exciting worlds of Jazz fusion, pop, soft rock and folk music. Chris has carved himself into the precipice of easy listening, having sordid affairs with the audible senses of those around him. Please, sit, relax, top up your sparkling flute, lean back within your chair and allow Chris Maguire to stand and deliver. Tim Sanders (Fenner Island Review)
