Singer/songwriter Christy Wallace is quickly building a following in the South East of South Australia for her deeply-personal songs, reflecting on life, from the melancholic to the joyous, with an alt-country approach often mixed with rock and folk influences in a unique and intriguing style. Her debut album, Angel on Earth, produced by Bill Chambers, brings her songs to a new audience with its stripped-back studio production of her touching and diverse songs. Harmonies, fiddle and guitars ranging from acoustic and electric to lapsteel, along with harmonica and banjo combine to embellish the carefully crafted songs.
