Edit history

A rocket charged melting pot of rock, psychedelic and ambience with hints of groove, electronica and functional harmony best describe the sound that is Chronokarma. Two guitars, bass, drums, digipads, three voices and an array of effects combine to explode in a wash of sound that leaves audiences intrigued and satisfied. The band emerged after its members wanted to develop a new 'rock' sound, taking from influences such as Muse, Radiohead, Dredge, Jeff Buckley and Yes. Keen to keep the music diverse, the band uses musical devices such as counterpoint, functional harmony and polyrhythms while hitting home with heavy rock riffs. Debut EP, "The Divine Vanity" was launched late last year at Revolver Upstairs. Check out www.myspace.com/chronokarma or the Chronokarma facebook group for more details.
