Ladies and gentlemen Antipodes music has a new face on board . Chuck Solo has a big musical soul. He also prefers not to use a pick when he plugs in his Fender Strat ,and has his heart woven throughout his music. These are a few of the things that make him so special to us. Sydney based and well travelled, with a sharp lyrical mind, he brings us back to where music can really make us feel connected again and find ourselves drifting off into a pleasant sonic dream . Chuck Solo is a rock/country/roots-driven hybrid who has been hiding quietly in the wings. Now, in this time of isolation we all face he has created a couple of gems for our listening pleasure. His influences are broad and varied - Elvis Costello, David Gray, and the Beatles. A little Neil Diamond and Chris Isaac can also be heard in the fabric of his songs. He weaves his back story of love lost and lessons learnt into solid pieces of art that take the mind on a walk somewhere serene and innocent.
