Hey friends! It’s me, Chase (but you can call me Chunky) and I’ll be referring to myself in 3rd person after this sentence to make my bio appear like it was written by someone more qualified than me. The surge of “Lil…” rappers is a wave that Chunky not only enjoys listening to, but is now himself attempting to ride. As a physically smaller unit, the name Chunky suited Chase perfectly as it held the same ironic ‘size don’t match the name’ undertone, that his favourite “Lil…” rappers shared. He also uses it as a personal reminder to bulk himself up, with hopes of one day growing to befit the name. Chunky’s late teens and early twenties were spent hosting pub gameshows and performing stand up comedy. Until one day, he discovered that hip-hop was in fact his true passion and hopefully a better outlet for his unique voice. His primary musical influence is the late, great Juice WRLD (RIP). Adam Sandler, Chris Tucker and Conor Macgregor also played part in inspiring/shaping Chunky Mac.
