Cinema Heaven is an international electronic music production, songwriting and DJ duo consisting of Flo Hintze and Josh Lacoste. The group started when the two met at a music producer meetup in Tokyo. Shortly after, they started playing each other songs and sharing bits of ideas in the studio. Cinema Heaven is a truly international pairing. Hintze is from Germany and Lacoste is from Australia but two have both lived in Japan for many years working on their own solo projects. Both members speak fluent Japanese and have a strong connection to Japan. The duo’s shared philosophy towards music production and similar musical sensibility has lead to the creation of this new project. As Cinema Heaven, the duo hopes that their uplifting sound and epic on-stage performance will resonate with fans worldwide
