Circumsystem started in 2004 when Tom and Hayden started jamming together. They began to write material and met Rory not long after, who came to be the Circumsystem bassist. Together, the three of them put together four tracks and recorded them, playing them at live shows and distributing their demos the best they could. The band then decided on finding a second guitarist. So Rufen was added to the line-up. Rufen departed ways with Circumsystem for personal reasons, but his last show with the band was one to remember as Circumsystem played Punkfest ’05. This to date is one of the band’s biggest shows. Jarrod, former Fire Away guitarist became Circumsystem’s fill-in guitarist, but later joined the band permanently; playing various shows with them. Jarrod left Circumsystem to pursue a different music style, in his own band, Aimed At You. Circumsystem, now a three piece again, took time off playing shows to start the hunt for a new guitarist and to write new material. Chris, ex-
