Founded in 2005, Cisco James and the betrayal are a three piece group fronted by singer songwriter Cisco James, with Mike Sullivan on guitar, and Jason Jarvis on drums. All living in melbourne, Cisco James and Mike Sullivan have played in other groups together such as "The Excellent Smithers", and "Cisco and Sully" . Jason Jarvis is a cousin of Cisco, and this is their first project together. The style of the writing drifts from funk to country, to sea shanty, to rock.
