Edit history

City Chalk Outline is a progressive rock outfit, drawing influences from Radiohead, Tool, Mogwai and Jeff Buckley. The project began in 2004 with Tom Skerlj (from the north coast, along with James Carr) composing and recording the tracks. In 2006 James Carr (formerly co-writers in a previous band over 2000-2001) joined the project along with new member Stu Carl (originally from Brisbane) completing the live musical line-up. Adam Lomas Began singing in 2000 with Late Night Inside (Gold Coast) and has been a part of outfit since early 2007. The live sound focuses on connecting soundscape and rock to establish mood and atmosphere – separating City Chalk Outline as an emerging Brisbane band.
