I have been massively in to music from a real young age, so as soon as i could leave school, i went on a mission to start a music career. I joined a covers band at 15 which helped me develop my performing skills, and from there i started to get interested in writing original material, so hit up the studios to record demo's etc. From this I started playing the odd original acoustic gig with myself and a guitarist and competeted in a battle of the bands competition, coming 2nd (against proper bands so it wasn't to much a fail) I then met Steve Jeffery who was pretty big on the break beat scene at the time as ''Darft Phunk'' and he asked me to join their live act, so we scoured the country doing gigs, and flew to different places to perform which was amazing. Steve decided he wanted to write in a Nu Funk style and changed the name to Pimpsoul, we wrote a couple of hits together, Noggins Groove, and Twist It...
