the relatively new rock and roll 'slow band project' of Berlin born, Perth raised, Sydney bred, Melbourne based singer/songwriter Sascha Klave. Quietly releasing mostly self-recorded singles and accompanying low-fi video clips since 2019, Clap Hands has played Melbourne venues including The Yarra Hotel, The Drunken Poet, The Catfish, The Tote, The Brunswick Hotel, The Fitzroy Pinnacle, The Welcome Swallow Dive Bar (now Artists Bar), and The Bergy Seltzer. The first single 'Getting Out Alive' snuck in prior to the first Covid lockdown and was launched at The Merri Creek Tavern in Northcote. The songs live clip was filmed on the night and subsequently featured at the taverns Celluloid Heroes Film Fest alongside videos for The Lost Ragas and Mick Thomas & The Roving Commission. Teaming up with engineering guru Roger Bergodaz (The Lost Ragas, Tex Perkins & The Fat Rubber Band) at Union Street Studios in December 2022, to record his new single and undertake what was his most gratifying studio experience to date; Sascha is proud to say... "Bet It All is done. It's SO fucking good!"
