Clever Monkey got together in late 2012 after Callum Munro and Craig Ninness teamed up with a shared vision of bringing some raw, heavy rock music to the Darwin Scene. Later joined by Shane and Sam, the 4-piece have gone on to play a multitude of shows, recorded a self-titled EP, and forged a solid reputation in their local music scene with their visceral, angry brand of music. With heavy, pounding riffs, machine-gun percussion, bowel churning bass and fierce but melodic vocals, it's impossible to be at a Clever Monkey performance and not sit up and pay attention.
