Making their ARIA Charts debut at #2 Australian Albums and #12 Global with debut album 'Vitriol', Perth's Cloning cement their place as one of Australia’s most singular alt-rock acts - perceptive, uncompromising, selling out shows nationwide. Lyrically, ‘Vitriol’ treads between wistful melancholy and wry cynicism, parsing themes of loneliness, loss and the unyielding political-economic entropy of contemporary Australia. The result is a record both caustic and compassionate; a portrait of connection amid collapse. Speaking on the album title, vocalist Felix Parker explains: “Vitriol is named after the band of our high school best friend, Will Atkinson, who died from a brain tumour when we were 15. For us, Vitriol is about love, friendship and meaning in the face of emptiness and triumphing in spite of adversity.” Self-recorded, mixed, produced & managed, just completed 2025 AUS headline tour. 'Vitrol' is an album born from grief and the enduring search for meaning in the noise.
