A musical force that seems to have originated in the east end pub scene, picked up the sea shanty tradition en route to the southern land, and collide spectacularly with the angst of punk & the sensibilities of folk. This grizzled Aussie/Anglo four piece seem to channel the best from the last 50 years of music and still put their own twist on passionate, authentic rock. The rock solid rhythm section joins soaring guitar and a couple of busted old crooners to produce the Cobden Social. An experience.
