Coco Hue is a collaborative recording project; an original West End jazz groove trio featuring local vocals. It is the creation of keys player, Peta Leigh Wilson, who has played in and out of Brisbane bands since the 1880s. On this first record, Peta is joined by Andrew Johnson on bass and Myka Wallace on drums. The featured local vocals are of the finest calibre, including Hannah Macklin, Peter Hunt, Lachlan Mitchell and Georgia Potter to name a few. Influences are the Robert Glasper Experiment and The Internet.
