Colie is a project from North Queensland storyteller, Nicole Cross. Colie’s love of storytelling began at a young age, inspired by her Grandfather and his love of Australian poetry, in particular Banjo Patterson. From Julia Jacklin and Phoebe Bridgers to Johnny Cash, Colie’s sound has been influenced by an interesting mix of genres. Colie is proud of her folk roots, and her sound has been described by Elsa Silberstein from Triple J as “Brutal Australian songwriting - Colie leaves you feeling warm albeit a bit devo". Colie's debut album 'The End Of The World' is set for release in November 2022.
