I was born in Edinburgh, Scotland where I lived until I was about 17, then left for Germany as a roadie for a local band. Lived in Germany for approx. 3 1/2 years, then traveled east overland on the 'hippy trail'. Whilst on the road, lived in Nepal for several months where I met and lived with some Tibetan Lamas just outside of Kathmandu. Made my way further overland and eventually arrived in Australia in 1974. Based mainly on the Sunshine Coast where I helped some friends build and establish a Tibetan Buddhist Meditation Centre.
