‘Collected Cosmic’ is the result of collaboration with fellow musicians and isolation due to the COVID pandemic. The concept: to pass songs from artist to artist, each writing and recording instrumental or vocal parts to create completed songs. The six songs began as simple & repetitive bass and drum loops with the intention of creating a quasi-krautrock style supergroup EP. But as each new element was sent back to me, the songs evolved into tracks varying in sound, energy and texture, without genre confines. Each artist, whether sonic or visual, brought their own influences in reaction to what they were presented with, both a challenge and a chance for creative expression. What follows is the result, and I hope you enjoy it - Henry
