Over 17 years of playing music together, the Colour Cage trio have journeyed across genres on a lifelong musical odyssey. They carve out a niche of their own drawing inspiration from the likes of Sault, The Smile, Puma Blue, Grizzly Bear, Men I Trust, Vulfpeck, Tom Misch and Taylor McFerrin. All members gigged regularly across Australia in different groups since the early 2010’s and their own live shows always attracted a cult-like attention for the unique sound and musicianship. All songs are written, recorded and produced by the band, offering a holistic mindset to the music-making process.
