Edit history

Colourbound is a three-piece Alternative outfit formed in 2014. The band, consisting of guitarist/vocalist Angus McRobbie, bass player Brenton Adey and drummer/percussionist Aj Hainsworth perform their own brand of energetic and melodic rock, inspired by the likes of Coldplay, Queen, U2 and The Strokes to name a few. When Hainsworth needed a group of musicians to perform pop covers for a birthday party in 2014, she recruited McRobbie and Adey, along with a few others to fit the bill. After the success of the first show, the band decided to stay together and work towards greater goals; writing original songs and developing a sound while testing the water of the open mic-night scene in Fremantle. Jump forward to 2015, the lineup has been streamlined and the band has a slew of original tunes and a developing sound, along with a heft of stage experience. Colourbound is working to release a new EP and a single with its very own video this August! With shows popping up in Bunbury, Perth
